FESTIVAL

These days there is a festival called Ganpati / Ganesha taking place. Ganesha is a manmade elephant God that people worship. In this season you can see elephant statues everywhere; big statues along the roads, in peoples houses, on the way to the temple people carry small ones in their hands going for ‘puja’ / worship-prayer, people travel far distances too with the statues as one man had chosen to bring a big one on the train. It might sound funny or extreme, but people are really passionate about this elephant God. They put garland around it’s neck and decorate beautifully for the festival. Please pray for revelation so that their eyes would open and their great passion would turn from Ganpati to be worshipping the One True God.
