The building-work is in process again and progress :) !

On another beautiful day at the Activity-centre.
During the last year the building-work has been 'on n off'
several times due to lockdown caused by the pandemic.
We are excited to tell that the we now have almost finished the
outside structure of the building. Windows remain though.
As there are quiet few of them:), it is still a lot of work.
But the whole structure is up and the plastering is done!

Now remains the inside work.
Naturally that is a lot of work too, but we rejoice in
all that gets done and for every step that finish;
one by one.

It seems that the building-process from the beginning and until now,
has been a 'bumpy road', so to say, for different reason.
There has been so many types of hindrances along the building-road,
so we are really enjoying that in spite the time it has taken this far,
we have come to the point we are at now.
And, with joy we continue to hope and look forward for the
day when we can start using the Activity-centre for the
blessing of others; children and adults alike! :).

The picture below this text is taken from the garden of the
house on the property. The family who are caretakers and
in-charge of the maintanance of the property is living in the house.

They have made a small garden here.
We look forward to the time when we will start planting
and making a nice garden around the Activity-centre also.
And, not least, when we will be making ready the outside
playground & sportsground!

FOOD DISTRIBUTION

During the corona-pandemic we have been so blessed by peoples
contribution towards food-distribution. It has been a great joy
to be able to buy food and groceries and hand it out to people in slum-areas
where we work.

Basic needs of rice, atta (flower), lentels, sugar, various spices, oil etc

The groceries bought from the shop gets divided into food-packages
that we hand-over to the people who live in the slums.
On the picture below Sunil Shejul give Arjun (one of the
school-boys in the sponsorship-program) a food-bag.

We are so thankful to all of you who have been helping making it possible
to bless the wonderful people living in the slums with food!

The overall situation in India is still far from back to normal, but it is better
than it was a couple of months back. Due to insecurity and the very inpredictable
situation India and the rest of the world is in and has been in the last year and a half,
India is still periodically in lockdown. Many shops have restricted opening hours.
Most schools are closed for physical appearance, but offer studies online.
It is not an optimal situation, at least not for most of the sponsorship-children
who seems to gain most out of their studies through acctual apprearance in school.
But...for now, this is what the situation is, and it has to be handled the best way
we think we can, in spite, and through this 'storm'.
Please be praying for the school-children, the Spread workers, the ministry-work
the Church-members and for us :).
